School Policies & Guidelines

• We aim to provide 3 regular lessons plus 1 additional creative or make-up lesson each month.

• Lesson schedules may be adjusted during public holidays, school vacations, New Year holidays, or other special circumstances.

• Tuition fees are non-refundable.

• If a student misses a lesson, they may attend a make-up lesson whenever available.

• Make-up lessons may be scheduled in the same month or a nearby month and may take place on different days, times, or at different locations.

• Refunds will not be provided for missed make-up lessons.

• Students may also attend special creative sessions held on Tuesdays, Saturdays, or Sundays when available.

• If a student must take an extended leave due to illness, injury, or unavoidable circumstances, please contact us individually to discuss options.

• Tuition cannot be refunded for absences occurring after the month has already begun.

Communication

After enrollment, parents will be invited to join their class LINE group.

We also ask that parents connect with the SKY MOUNTAIN Office LINE account for individual communication and important announcements.

Safety & Liability

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

We take every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety of our students.

However, SKY MOUNTAIN Creative Dance Kids cannot accept responsibility for accidents, injuries, illnesses, theft, lost property, or damage occurring before, during, or after lessons, rehearsals, performances, or events.

Families may be held financially responsible for any damage caused to facilities or equipment by participating students.

Parents are asked to inform us in advance of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or other health concerns that may affect participation.

In some cases, participation may be limited for safety reasons.

Any disputes between students or parents should be resolved respectfully between the parties involved.

Performances & Events

Students may have opportunities to participate in:

• Mini performances approximately every one  months

• Community events and local festivals throughout Niseko

Participation in performances is always optional.

Attendance will be confirmed separately for each event.

If students are absent from a performance, choreography and formations may be adjusted during rehearsal time prior to the event.

We encourage all students to participate whenever possible, as performances are wonderful opportunities to build confidence, teamwork, and stage experience.

Parent Volunteer Support

​● We kindly ask parents/guardians to participate in a rotating supervision schedule during classes.

Responsibilities may include:

* Checking student attendance

* Recording videos during lessons

* Assisting with light clean-up (such as mopping the floor)

* Supporting children if they feel unwell

We greatly appreciate your cooperation and support.

⭐️ During the final class, we will record a video, upload it as an unlisted YouTube video, and hold a small showcase performance for family and friends.

We also plan to share photos and videos from SKY MOUNTAIN activities on our social media platforms. If you prefer that your child not appear in photos or videos, please let us know individually, and we will respect your wishes.
