The joy of learning about diverse cultures
My experiences abroad—studying at Cairo University in Egypt, joining a teacher training program in Bangladesh with JICA, and spending time in about 15 different countries—taught me the true richness of learning from diverse cultures.
My experiences abroad—studying at Cairo University in Egypt, joining a teacher training program in Bangladesh with JICA, and spending time in about 15 different countries—taught me the true richness of learning from diverse cultures.
Now, I wish to share that same joy through the Japanese art of calligraphy.

After marriage and the birth of my child, I faced difficult times within my family.
These challenges made me reflect deeply on how I wanted to live my own life.
I asked myself: “If today were my last day, what would I choose to do?”
The answer was clear: calligraphy, education, and international exchange.
With this conviction, I opened ATELIER SAKURA in Hakodate’s Bay Area in 2024.
